Himalaya Rescue Dog Squad Nepal provides search & rescue teams and medical aid in the event of natural disasters such as earthquake, avalanche, flood and when trekkers are reported missing or injured.

As the only rescue organization of its kind in Nepal, we are able to provide fast air-lift of rescue and tracker dogs to almost any area.
Outside times of crisis our Medical Relief Center provides the only available health service to a community of over 80 000.

HRDSN is established in October 1989 at Sundarijal, Nepal. Formerly working directly under the umbrella of Nepal's Ministry of Home, our organization is registered since April 1996 as (P)LTD at the Government of Nepal Office of the DOI.
HRDSN is a joint venture with it's own Middim Khola Resort (P)LTD Restaurant & Trekking Lodge at her headquarters in Lamjung, to generate an income for her Nepalese Rescue-Workers and their families.
The year 2009 is HRDSN's twentieth anniversary.

Since its humble beginnings, the Project has become quite sizeable.
