2.) HRDSN NEEDS NEW LIFE STOCK
Sponsor a German Shepherd puppy or an English Springer Spaniel puppy.
During the Peoples War that lasted for ten full years from 1996 till 2005 HRDSN was not
able to continue dog breeding and training of new Rescue Dogs.
As a result of this long lasting time of uncertainty our existing life stock has come of age
and is now unfit for breeding.
Therefore HRDSN has to start again from scratch and asks your help!
Terms to donate a puppy to our Project:
HRDSN depends on Donors to run the Search-and Rescue Service and can
not afford to import new puppies at her own cost.
Therefore HRDSN asks Kennel-Clubs and Dog Training Clubs worldwide to
donate a puppy and its transport costs, preferable with a guardian or
dog trainer who accompanies the puppy to its new home in Nepal .
HRDSN invites young members (m/f) above the age of 20 of any dog training
club or kennel club world wide to bring a puppy to Nepal , along with
veterinary vaccination certificate and genuine pedigree.
HRDSN will provide free transport from Kathmandu Airport to her Project
which is based in Lamjung in the beautiful Middim Khola Valley in central
Nepal, where free lodge and food will be provided for a maximum of 3 months.
HRDSN will refund the visa costs to those who stay with us for longer than a month.
Good command in spoken English is a pre-requisite for those who like to stay
with us to attend the training of the puppy, or who like to give training instructions
to the Nepalese Dog Handler, who receives the puppy.
If the puppy donor or representative of the donor kennel club is a certified
dog trainer, he/she may train the puppy for obedience, tracking lost people,
jungle search and rescue, together with the new Nepalese Dog Handler,
in order to witness the puppy getting used to its new handler.
HRDSN will publish the donors and their generous gift in the local and
international press and her website. We will keep in touch with the
donor club by reporting regularly about our activities.
